I’m surprised to read they’re not offering them to the under 65’s this year unless vulnerable.

Apparently you can’t actually pay for one either in the way you do for a flu jab if you feel you need to take one.

Seems very short sighted to me.

And clearly you are blind and deaf

Excess deaths ruuning at 11%, heart problems- effects of lockdown on society- economic and social and children's development.. the corruption , the effect on NHS- and that's for starters

The covid jab was and is a con- it didn't stop you getting it or transmitting it & the total cost to UK is estimated as follows...
Current estimates of the total cost of government Covid-19 measures range from about £310 billion to £410 billion. This is the equivalent of about £4,600 to £6,100 per person in the UK. Official figures show that spending in 2020/21 was about £177 billion higher than had been planned before the pandemic for that year.

Worth it?

Bordering - you could so easily have began your reply with 'excess deaths .....' which could have opened up a debate but instead you go into attack dog mode. Is that the way to convince someone of any perceived truth you may have uncovered? Its pointless coming on here spouting facts and figures after you have alienated others. If you feel frustrated at others for not being able to see what you see then there is way to do it and it aint attempting to belittle.

I lost 3 friends to covid ,the Ist one died a week before his covid appointment for the jab.
The other other 2 both refused to have the jab, the last one to die , even on his death bed maintained there is no covid it's just the flu.

There were doubtless mistakes made, an exaggerated knee-jerk reaction at times, profiteering and the rest of it but only a fool would claim that covid did not exist.

Most agree that variations of animal related flu epidemics will continue to be with us and threaten in the future. Of course the very young, the elderly and infirm will be far more vulnerable to them whilst others may be less affected (though the Spanish Flu killed millions of fit young soldiers as well). Does bordering suggest we do nothing about these ?

Mass inoculations will always be tricky but those who fall totally for all the conspiracy theories around them should perhaps look at the sharp decline in things like polio, diphtheria and whooping cough. These were all common killers prior to the introduction of jabs -or is this just co-incidence?

What makes my blood boil is the frauds who made billions, like the financial crash nobody will held to account and sent to jail.
Taxpayers will pick up the bill.

My father in law died in hospital with covid, no one could visit him not even his daughter my wife who is a nurse, the initial covid variant was not a conspiracy it was not the flu and it was deadly. Vaccination against the first strains was necessary and saved lives.
I personally do not believe that with the exception of extremely vulnerable people that continued covid vaccination is a good idea. We need to move on now the virus has mutated to lesser variants.

I’m not classed as vulnerable Dave but I was really rough with Covid, if I’d had a gun I’d have shot my self at one point.

I never want to feel that ill again if I can help it, I just don’t understand why they’re not selling the jab to people who are willing to pay for it.

I just wish they did a jab for piles.

I’ve just realised what an idiotic thing that was to say on here! 🫣🤣

Totally agree Dave. I had all the jabs and glad I did for my health. That said - glad we didn’t vaccinate our healthy and fit children as in my view that was completely unnecessary.
