18 games

16 losses

2 draws.

Howay, lads...it's now or nev.....well, now or next season. :D

I'd say we've got a better chance than we usually do at getting at least a point. Famous last words, and all that.

This will be a great game. Good time to play City, if there is such a thing.

I say we take the game to them.

If there's one team who can escape our high press, it's Man City.

Blimey...forgot Miggy was playing!

This is better from us.

Bruno's passing has been poor so far, though.

Ah, *******s.

Not a surprise, though.

My mate's BT went off a few minutes ago and my response was that might not be a bad thing.

We look a bit nervous here. We are being too respectful.

One or two of our players not quite at it.

Funnily enough, much as it would have benefitted us, I'm glad that wasn't given as a penalty. Probably would have been last season but this new interpretation is far better.

We’re improving on the ball slightly now, relatively poor game from us so far. City are masters of making other sides look worse than they are though

Toughest game of the season and only one down at the half.

I think we will get a point here against the run.

We've been alright. Awesome finish from Alvarez.

We need a bit more composure on the ball. Joe looks off it tonight. Our attacks break down every time Burn gets the ball down the left, Isak is isolated. Botman having a great game. Tonali looks solid. I'd liek to see more drive from Gordon. He would benefit so much from a more attacking left back playing with him.

You can see how far we have come, Whatever the score ends up being.

I bet Walker is pleased he hasn't got to deal with ASM this season.

18 points ahead of us last season, Champions League winners, best manager., best squad..all these things have kind of been lost in the optimism of our transfer window and the Villa win.

Miggy, man...****'s sake.

Almiron just not quite good enough.

Howvmuch money is on that bench. This is what we are up against

Blimey...forgot Miggy was playing!

Get him off for Wilson adap

We need to deal with Foden or he's going to create another opportunity they won't spurn.

Bruno lucky not to be subbed, tbh.

HughieG

Almiron’s end product can be frustrating, but he also receives little to no support when running forward with the ball. Not always his fault that it ends up in nowt.

We've been very solid defensively. Botman has been immense. As has Scahr. But I am really disappointed we didn't create more chances.
Good game nonetheless.

Liverpool next!

Quite...disappointed, as it goes.

We offered almost nothing in attack, much as we defended well. there was zero creativity, too.

We got schooled today. City suffocated us in the first half.
Likewise I was disappointed we didn’t create more. Can’t see City losing at home this season. Awesome side.

We still aren't seeing the best of Bruno as he is having to play so deep. A number 6 was a high priority for me in the window.

We'll do well against most team though, City just too good today.

I just thought we were a bit nervous. Lacked a little bit of belief.

Now that the game is over, we should have come away with a point. Still, the toughest game of the season is over and done with it - and we made them look unconvincing.

Hope we thrash Liverpool. 7-1.

NO shame in losing to the best side in the prem and European Champions.

We weren't hammered, against a lot of teams we'll win.

The fact we're coming away disappointed we didn't get a point shows the progress - usually we'd be leaving thankfully it was only 2 or 3 rather than 5 or 6.
