Wow, No.1 issue solved already it look likes. Just the profile of player we need. Let's hope it works out. Well done, RM

Good call Swale from the January rumour thread

Been rumoured for a month or so I think the radar's been locked on!

ETA: Now we just need Brian Gorham and we'll be rocking! (I wonder whether anyone on here will get that!)

Fleetwood fans don't seen to rate him at all, but hopefully dropping down a league he can show his quality.

Why can't he play for us until the 13th though if the deal is due to be completed on the first?

Hope the lad settles in well. Certainly seems to fit the bill.

I'm guessing it's because the transfer will be officially done on 1st so he would be eligible to play on 2nd onwards but we don't have a game until 13th.

Yeah I've just realised that, forgot that the sutton game will be rearranged, cheers.

He'll have a fair period to train with us then.

Not rated at Fleetwood, a good friend of mine Owain Fon Williams the keeper coach there says bags of potential but will never fulfill it due to his attitude.

Well I think LW, DMc, Bostock and others will knock that out of him.

Doncaster fans didn't rate Bostock, judging by the hostile reception they gave him at the weekend. Look how that worked out! ;)

Was told Crowley was a ball greedy b@stard & never passed, shot on sight by an ex Morecambe player who played in the same side. Naturally wasn't jumping for joy when we signed him after being told that.
Systems, styles just don't suit all players. You will always get a duff signing slip through the net.
Morias would be mine at Notts, just not working out for him after nearly a year here. Could move on & be injury free & score a few

I don’t think this squad will allow anyone to show a bad attitude.
However good he might be, I don’t think he’ll be gifted a starting place. He will have to earn it and then keep it.

I would give him Jim as a mentor.

Plenty of others too in this squad who will give him what he needs, whatever that might be!

Beat me to it. I was thinking exactly the same thing. A fellow-ex-Celt, and the best role model any young professional footballer could hope to have. You can't teach a player natural ability, but you can teach them how to grow up, especially when they're only 22. Jim O'Brien would be the perfect candidate to take Scott Robertson under his wing and help him fulfil his potential. Then it's up to Scott to soak up all that advice and mature as a player. If he listens and learns, the world's his lobster. :D
