I think a good idea for Scottish footy would be a North Atlantic League Cup, on top of domestic and European football.*

We could cut the Scottish Premiership down to a 30 game season, in a 16 team league to free up weeks for extra cross border trophies. Then Scottish sides could play sides in small to medium sized European or large North American, or North American club sides in a North Atlantic League Cup.*The Scottish clubs play South African sides in rugby union. So why could the leading Scottish footy sides not play leading MLS, or North African sides a few times a season? Maybe even Saudi sides?
UEFA allow Welsh and Northern Irish sides in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Teams like Glasgow Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee Utd, Dundee, and Motherwell could take part. The North Atlantic League Cup could be a group stage trophy on top of domestic and European footy. It could be fun cross border games.*There are so many possibilities. We could play Dutch, MLS, North African, Belgian, French, Danish sides or any club sides. It would add fun to the season and build up more finances.

Celtic were in the news about a North Atlantic League, but I would prefer a North Atlantic League Cup on top of domestic and European footy.
