They have just released the new football shirts for the Netherlands. There's options. Home and away plus authentic and replica. The authentic ones are 100% the same as those worn by the players (possibly apart from the sizes being, on the whole, larger ;) ) and replica ones which are similar but without some of the intricacies of the authentic ones like non-sweat material etc.

Price? Authentic 159 euro, replica 109 euro. That's 137 gbp and 94 gbp respectively.

Derby's are cheaper but not bought one of our 25/26 ones either.

It has long been rumoured that the 4th Musketeer was killed in or around Maastricht whilst fighting for Louis XIV. He was killed on June 25, 1673, during the Siege of Maastricht, which was part of the Franco-Dutch War. He is also said to have been buried in Maastricht and, through the centuries, there have been many attempts to find his final resting place.

Thery now think they've found it. There was a slight floor collapse in a church in Maastricht and, when they were digging down to get past all the loose earth, they found a skeleton. They believe that the skeleton is that of Charles de Batz de Castelmore also known as d'Artagnan and later Count d'Artagnan. DNA tests are being carried out to either confirm or deny his identity.

Well MARP, you’ve let me down. More sun in Derbyshire than here this afternoon so here goes with a new thread, looking at JE’s signings to date. Just my opinion of course and I think I’ve got them all so, marks out of 10 and in no particular order.

Agyemang 8. Work in progress but lived up to expectation.
Brereton Diaz 7. A bit in and out, a mix of spectacular and frustrating.
Morris. 7. Doubtless would have been higher without the injury.
Brewster 6. Huge potential but limited availability.
Clark 7. More great potential. Contributed a lot but a tad lightweight.
Johnston 4. Think he’ll be worthwhile once fit again.
Szmodics 4. Flashes of brilliance but a tendency to disappear.
Travis 3. Too impetuous and a major disappointment so far.
Sanderson 7. Slotted in really well after a questionable start.
Ozoh 5. Not really recaptured his early season form of last season.
Weimann 3. Signed and sold…says it all really.
Batth 6. Undeniably brave. Intelligent and a good stand in leader.
Fraulo 5. Not really established himself yet.
O’Donnell 8. Rare for a third choice keeper to get a mention but he’s been excellent when called upon.
Banel 6. Hardly seen him. Looks a useful signing but still unproven.
Murkin 8. Impressive. Could yet prove to be the signing of the season.

Verdict. John Eustace has done very well in the transfer market. Travis and Ozoh - even though I really like the latter - have been the biggest disappointments imo, but overall he has signed some excellent players and got rid of some proverbial ‘dead wood’ along with those who couldn’t quite command a first team place. Assuming we don’t go up, a lot of next season’s ‘building blocks’ are already in place ready for more strengthening.

Getting to that time of the season again when, call it what you will, a choice has to be made.

Difficult one this season imo. JWZ, Morris and Langas would all have been contenders but for missing large chunks of the season via illness and injury. Joe Ward I think has been our most improved player, having by far his best year with Derby to date but, imo, Matt Clarke - despite one or two horrible mistakes - has been, overall, this season’s ‘Mr. Reliable’ with Agyemang, Sanderson and Bobby Clark his nearest contenders. Thoughts?
