A bumper fest of fixtures for this coming Saturday as we visit all six Leagues.

Managers fighting to keep their jobs, Promotion scraps, relegations, dropping out of the League it can all happen as we wind down to the end of another season.

With very few games left, maybe now is the opportunity to those who've yet to play theirs, to get your Jokers in or, are you leaving it til the final day of the season? Either way the choice is yours so good luck with it.

The top of the PL table is becoming very crammed indeed as we all scrap to secure the best position we can. Will anyone catch up with Glenn Miller before he plays his Joker? He's certainly looking strong from the position he holds.

Here we go all 3pm kick offs or later, choose wisely and good luck to all who enter ;D

*Saturday 11th April*

Brentford v Everton
Burnley v Brighton
Liverpool v Fulham
Aberdeen v Hibernian
Kilmarnock v Dundee
Leicester v Swansea
Blackpool v Peterborough
Cambridge v Notts County
Newport v Harrogate
Yeovil Town v Halifax Town

Predict a Score: Middlesbrough ? v ? Portsmouth

My Way
Nicked the idea from Paul Anka.
All credit to Paul Anka who wrote the song specifically for Frank Sinatra.

Just a snippet

The goals, we've had so few
But then again too few to mention
We did what we tried to do
And seen it through without much invention

We've cheered, we've raved and cried
We've had our share of losing
And now as sneers subside
We find it all so bemusing
To think we did all that
And may we say, not in a rye way
Oh, no, oh, no not us
We did it our way

With one of the smallest budgets in League One they have finally gained promotion back to what is now the Championship after more than six decades.......and to think we tore them apart on their visit to us early in the season.

The headlines at the time read like this......
Rotherham's strong form continued with a 3-0 win over Lincoln.

The Millers are now unbeaten in six league games and powering into the top half of the table following a slow start.......where did all that go? :blue:

Goals from Reece James, Ar'Jany Martha and Denzel Hall secured an easy win over the Imps.

I’m probably years behind most of you but I’ve just finished reading John Breckin’s book “Breck”. I know it was co-written with the journalist Les Payne but the sheer honest-to-goodness down-to-earthness of Breck just shines through. And I learnt a lot of stuff about what goes on behind the scenes, in the office, on the coach, in training and on the pitch. I was surprised by some of the stories about one or two players and managers. But it wasn’t just in football that Breck shows himself to be a dedicated human being; he’s had to cope with some difficult personal stuff too. A really good read and I found it uplifting in these otherwise worrying times, for Rotherham and elsewhere. If you haven’t already done so, go on, buy it!

Kaleta. Returns to training and is now out again with the same hamstring.
For a young kid this is bad medical management especially. You can just about excuse it with an ageing older pro who is not going to get right. But not this time.

Dawson. It is now reported that he has had a shoulder injury and being nursed for a few months, how long is a few months, does that include before the last transfer window?. If so we could have signed a replacement.
He has trained on it, played on it, and has the club or himself or medical now said time for an operation?
And what has that being having on restrictions during play or performances? (No doubt that will raise an excuse or two)
The whiff of mismanagement yet again. And just two instances at that.

I do wonder what we can believe or need to take with a pinch of salt any more. Talk about lack of PR.

Would you rather support;

a. A side which had a great opportunity and expectation to win 4 major competitions, only to bottle it and fail to win any, or,

b. A side which has been poor all season and will predictably be relegated to League 2?

Neither option is very attractive but is one less painful than the other?
