It has been over 20 years since I first posted on Hammers Mad as AmerHammer. Those were heady days as we had just won promotion back into the Premier League and I had just bought my season ticket. I vowed then that I would watch every single game that we played that season and I did. 47 games all told. Including the FA Cup Final at Cardiff. What a memorable day that was. Caught the coach from the Boleyn Ground early morning, videoed the whole occasion. Shame about Stevie Gerrard?s goal.

Met quite a few characters on here. WHU, Danno86, ThePike, Mangal, Dagenham John, LondonRebel to name but a few.

I wonder where they all are now.

Of course, its all different now. New stadium, new fans. Not quite the same. The Boleyn Ground lives long in my heart. Watch all our matches on The Big Match Revisited and momentarily enter a past when I was but a boy, collecting football bubble gum cards and following our great club as we went on our cup run in 1974-75, going on to lift the FA Cup in 1975. Alan Taylor. What a scoring streak.

Its all too easy for me to trot up to KUMB and log in there. I would probably reunite with a few from here on there but this board, oh what a thriving hub it was circa 2005-2007.

Be lucky.

Come on you Irons.
