Can someone please enlighten me about Vithino. Last time I was told is that the Brasillian club he went to had not paid the necessary transfer fee. Is that still the case or has it now been paid. If it hasnt been paid what are the club doing about it and at what point does Vithino return to Burnley or is stopped from playing any football until the matter is resolved.

Clearly what needs to happen now is to examine and record why we were such a good club in the late 50's early 60's and begin to develop in that manner. I do realise there are more ways to build a team such as AI but these can be developed once we are on the way to a recovery position.

One thing that help us as a club is to develop younger players and play them in gradual doses until they become established. The number of very young players who became household names was prolific but no longer I cannot see if/how our current crop of youngsters can ever make the first team this is clearly a significant weakness. We very often got the better young players because they were given early chances to be introduced to the first team.

We are way behind as far as younger players are concerned and if it does not change radically then we might as well stop funding the youth teams as they contribute nothing to our club.

Just look at the methodology adopted by the likes of Brentford it is all their on the internet so we should be able to develop in a similar way it is not all based on AI.

The thing is we must be able to bring in someone who is passionate about developing a methodology that incorporates past successes and include up to date new methods that are available.

I do not know how such thoughts/ideas get channelled to Alan Pace but maybe someone on this board has an avenue or contact for positive contributions like this and other ideas to be considered by the likes of Alan Pace.

Was it just me who thought high boot? Dubravka had to back off to miss it?
Then a weak pen, don?t know why they take off Walker, but it exposed Laurent. Still soft though.
Positively was a good performance, Anthony having a go for the first time and Flemming looks a good tough 9

We are 9 points from safety and we cannot defend for our lives so what does Parker do when we get our nose in front. He tries to defend a one goal lead.Laurent has never been good enough for the PL but he is Parkers favourite.Foster should be playing Sunday League football but he gets in the starting eleven.
Parker is totally feckin clueless.Get out of our club and take your negative tactics with you.Rant over.

Pce get ruthless and get real

This season and the one when we were last relegated. I put all the blame on Alan Pace. He is supposed to be a shrewd business man and may be he is in other walks of life. He is clearly not ruthless - it is the ruthless streak where a business man makes strong and defining decisions, this is not what he is capable of. For example if I was being advised to sign a certain player for a fairly high price and that advice turned out to be poor advice ie the player waas clearly not up to the mark. As a ruthless business man it would be once bitten but not twice and that should result in that advisor being sack but it seems not with Pace - he clearly lack a backbone. Instead he keeps getting advice about players who are clearly not good enough and Pace keeps acting upon the bad advice from the same people.

SO MY ADVICE TO ALAN PACE IS GET RUTHLESS and sack any advisor who has provided advice about players who are clearly not good enough and cost too much.

Until PACE does this then he will continue to sail down the creek without a paddle.

Well we didn?t lose and Anthony was unlucky, hitting the bar.

Hannibal and Anthony ran their socks off, closing down, trying to create. Ward - Prowse delivered some good corners but he does not command the midfield.

Parker self- destructs every match. I have always tried to be positive about Foster but seriously he was useless today. He finally got him off and brought on Edwards. Meanwhile Est?ve asked to be subbed so it took nearly 10 minutes to get Worral on. At one point we were down to ten men!

What is the point of bringing anyone on with two minutes to play? Broja tried but he can?t jump. Obichewbacca is slow and offers nothing. Walker was talking a throw in and obichewbacca made no effort to receive the ball, just strolling around.

One point but not enough. At least we have made it to 20 points and no doubt Parker will be proud of them etc., etc., but it is impossible to work out Parker?s thinking. Worral has played well but he is dropped to play Laurent in defence. He drops Pires who is attack minded and plays Hartman who was anonymous today.

Of course there should IMHO.
