A highly rated Left back who has played 28 time at Left Midfield last season for AC Milan.

However, over his career, he's mate 74 appearances at Left back. The lad is massive, 6 foot 3.

Signing him would be serious competition for Hall & potentially great succession planning to replace Burn at CB. However, looking at the kid he's not player a lot of football at CB. So bit odd, not sure where he'd fit in.

What is interesting is that AC Milan could sell the player to NUFC for 35m making a 100m acquisition for Sandro cost only 65m. Over 5 yrs that's a SCR accounting price of 13m quid a year.

That could be a deal that AC Milan CAN do.

I'm not trying to sell Sandro but if he's off, it's gotta be back home, Spain or abroad.

I don't see Germany as a destination. The missus wouldn't be too chuffed in Munchen I wouldn't have thought, Salamanca, si senora or back to Italy, ciao bella!

If the Cartel clubs were gonna come for Sandro there would be a bid already. Barcelona have signed Gordon, Sideshow bob MkII has left Chelsea.

There just isn't the market for him.

Anyway, ramble over.

He's off to Spuds today then XD

It's getting ridiculous the attempt to sell him by the press and to be honest his agent.

It was City in Jan, Le Arse for 2nd half of the season, Manure since the season ended and now it's Spuds.

They want to talk to him before any offer to see how he feels - **** off. Put an offer in. You don't get to tap him up to try and drive a price down.

Even the spuds analysis bloke struggled to say how it would be done.

- Sandro has 3 years left on his contract.
- We paid ?55 million for him.
- We will want a healthy profit on him.
- The most Spuds have spent on a player is ?65 million, they are know for not want to go much beyond it.

You are not getting Sandro around those figures, not when Forrest are rejecting ?120 million bids for Anderson.

Personally, cynic in me says this is a move by the cartel using Spuds as a flusher - see what numbers we'd be willing to talk at etc.

Whilst I do agree he may leave - it'll be to a CL club.

Also, Spuds need a full squad revamp and the wages to pay top players, they'll lose most of it on Sandro if they do seriously go fo him.

Has told the club he wants to leave - have heard he's even resigned to ensure it happens quickly.

Apperently going to Hammers as their Director of Football.

I've seen the Howe out brigade on twitter saying it's Howes fault because he wants his nephew in the role - mind blown, that this can be linked to Howe but there you go.

Based on speed etc. I wonder if a family thing has happened.

Although, also seen a train of thought that says he doesn't get on with Wilson. . . . Which may also make sense.

Either way, he goes with gratitude for all players he got threw the door but I bet Wilson has a top quality replacement lined up.

[/URL]

Gonzalo Garcia and Victor Munoz are good friends. The two forwards developed a strong bond while playing together through the youth ranks at Real Madrid.

They have cultivated a very supportive professional and personal relationship, openly praising each other's talents in interviews and on social media. When Munoz scored his debut goal, he specifically credited his easy chemistry on the pitch with Garcia. Similarly, Garcia has expressed excitement about seeing his close friend make his senior debut and earn his international call-up to the Spanish National Team.

Newcastle United are interested in Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Garcia as Eddie Howe seeks to strengthen his attacking options. Newcastle have held discussions with Real Madrid regarding Garcia, and have also advanced talks over Victor Munoz. Garcia is being considered as one of several names assessed for a new centre-forward position at Newcastle.

Gonzalo Garcia 'Perfect Hat-trick'.

The Anderson transfer has always bugged the shyte out of me, they said we had to do it for PSR I could never get my head around the transfer I think Howe didn?t fancy him. Now Man City bid ?121m for him makes the PSR excuse look even more ludicrous.

We all knew from when this lad was a kid he was to be great, he?s been talked about around the club for years and years.

If this happened on Mike Ashley?s watch they?re would be uproar.

Right then lads and lasses.
I've got some time to babble some PISH so been trawling the gossip sections and rumour mills.

Obviously this won't happen however my ideal summer would go as follow.
I've not gone for the totally ridiculous like M'Bappe etc kept it to players we've been linked with or have a slim chance of signing.

As much as I'd love Osimhen swapped with Wissa that just ain't gonna happen, for example.

I'm also working on the premise that we need to replace.

Trippier, Krafth, Gordon, Ramsdale & Targett (LB) = 4

*** This is not a manager debate, please keep replies strictly player related. List doesn't included players already departed. Thank you***

Outs
CF - WISSA
CF - OSULA
RW - J.MURPHY
LW - BARNES
CMF - WILLOCK
GK - POPE
GK - Vlac
= 7

a total 11 players needed. I'm also constraining my choices to players that make sense within the NUFC model. Not the likes of Vlahovic on 400k Euros a week etc. Personally, I have no interest in this profile of player at all in reality. We've seen all that before. Patrick Kluivert turned up at NUFC and just cashed his cheques. Owen the rat, likewise.

I have no interest in that. My targets are players who are up and coming, hungry, ambitious and angry for success.

If you should player that fit a different model please add justifications for your choices to develop the debate in the thread. Thank you very much.

INs
GK - Ewen Jaouen - NUFC
GK - Diogo Costa - Porto
CB - Viery - Germio
RB - Guela Doue - Strasbourg
RB - Iván Fresneda - Sporting
LB - Jorge Salinas - Santander
CMF - Marc Casado - Barcelona
LW - Christos Tzolis - Brugge
LW - Matias Fernandez-Pardo
RW - Victor Munoz - Osasuna
CF - Pierre Mounguengue - PSG - Free Agent
CF - Gonzalo Garcia - Real Madrid

That would be a spectacular youthful squad with vast potential.

It won't happen, won't even come close.

A few leaders in there too. Costa the keeper, Captain of Porto, Casado Spain's U-21 captain & Barca 'B' Captain.

Ewen Jaouen almost signed already a very smart bit of business by the club for France's future No.1. Pleased to see it!

This summer's personal obsession signing - Gonzalo Garcia. That kid is a proper All round No.9 Pure class. Reminds me of Raul with hints of a Youthful Shearer. That would signing would be elite!

The 3 Spaniards in general, Casado, Garcia & Munoz would be elite future star signings.
Garcia - Obsessed.
Casado - Proper DCMF reads the game, tackles, intercepts, breaks up play, elite passing, leadership and teamwork stats
Munoz - has played a lot on the Right too so super flexible and delivers in either position.

Mounguengue is a dark horse, on a free, bags of potential. If I were Ross Wilson I'd sign him if only for the resale potential. Ship Osula for 30+ mil. This kid Mounguengue is levels above him already. He will be a future star.

Viery a future CB for Brazil. Excellent break out season in his homeland. Succession planning for Schar's departure next season and ideal to push Thiaw over the coming seasons.

Guela Doue & Fresenda - Doue is the PSG star's bro, massive potential and a solid first teamer in Ligue 1 this season. Solid with massive upside. Fresneda has been linked for a while, again a great player with loads of potential. These two added to the RB position gives flexibility to push Tino & potentially facilitate him playing at left back to challenge Hall.
Tino with less pressure puts in an excellent season next year and the club moves him on for top top dollar.

Salinas - cheap, massive potential, a superb 2nd choice to take some weight of Hall's legs and mix it up with Tino swapping flanks.

Christos Tzolis - at 24 the lad's really come of age. Brilliant under rated LW, he's ready for that step up and with a lot of European experience.

Fernandez-Pardo - Flexible, plays left and CF. Would be a superb foil for Woltemade.

So that's my ramble. That's the choice. No clue how much, don't care it's all just a bit of fun.

Trippier, Krafth, Gordon, Ramsdale & Targett (L = 4

I know we all know this wasn't about the football this one but **** me - it's not about the football.

The train to the stadium in New York would usually cost $13 on WC match day a train ticket will cost $98.

Reusable bottles banned from stadiums so you have to purchase drink inside which is looking at over a ?7 a bottle of water.

Even less about football:

Iranian team not allowed to stay in states, half their support staff not allowed in and all Iranian fan visas decline.
Haiti fans not allowed in.
Senegal fans visa's not authorised.
Morrocan and Scottish fans visa's decline at country entry and sent away.
Somalian ref - the number 1 African ref - turned away at entry - a ****ing ref, a fifa official.
The Senegalise and Uzbek teams subject to humilating searches on the tarmac of the airport once landed.

I sort of get the Iran bit - ignoring politics of whether they should have gone to war - but even so, doesn't feel right.

A world cup should be pinacle of players careers and yet this . . . feels so tainted.

**** me. Dreadful.

Was taken off by doc and match cancelled.

Doc says he was only unconsicous for a brief period and the pacemaker worked as it should.

Surely it's time for him to retire now, not worth the risk to his life.
