Wolves have sacked V?tor Pereira in the wake of their 3-0 defeat by Fulham, which left them bottom with two points from 10 games and eight points adrift of the last safe spot. The move comes despite his signing a three-year contract in September.
The Portuguese was appointed last December in succession to Gary O?Neil, with Wolves 19th, with nine points from 16 matches. He quickly reinvigorated the team and they were safe by late April, before finishing 16th, earning 33 points from their last 22 games.
