Just one goal from Derby was enough to win the game for their team. George Dobson was supposedly injured which meant Alfie May captained the Add1cks and had some half chances before Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored Derby's winning goal late on in the first half.

Daniel Kanu had the better of the chances in the 2nd half when his header was just tipped over. Derby were able to see out the last half hour of the game despite another effort from May.

Nathan Jones who is set to be appointed new manager will no doubt aim to save the team from a relegation scrap. He will have his work cut out but we wish him well.
