Sorry Steve - we'd already lost the game before that in that the team from 46 - 65 minutes was a shocking shadow of itself from the 1st half. Penalty or not the writing was on the wall. I have never seen such a turnaround in performance due to half time, for that I would like you to explain why that occurred and not the usual hard luck refereeing decisions.
Lol, hilarious.
So then, our manager is fuming because of a penalty awarded because his centreback deliberately tripped an opposition player that was clean through on goal?
What a rediculous attempt to try to grab the moral high ground.
Get a grip Mr Evans and sign the centreback that we badly need.
Think Evans says he was signing a centre back on loan even before todays red card. Much needed now with only Mills as a recognised centre half available. Urgh.
What's moral high ground got to do with it? He's fuming because the incident occurred outside the box. If it had happened inside the box, then fair enough.Quote:

It must just be me who thinks that Evans is spot on. It was outside the area so it wasn't a penalty. Free kicks are a lot harder to score from than penalties and as we witnessed a few games ago, playing against 10 men isn't always a given.
Evans post match interview made it clear that he had no argument with the sending off.Quote:

How difficult can it be to grasp that?
WHO WAS THAT LINESMAN DAVID BLUNKITT ?
Also, how can the ref change his mind, when he gives a free kick, then on the advice of his assistant, gives a penalty, crazy decision's or what.
