Text from a pal at the ressies game tonight, says Holden has gone down a few times and now holding his knee,

Now subbed, this could be the end of the lad, what a shame for him and us

We new it wouldn't be long before he broke down again but i didn't think it would be this quick.

So sad and frustrating. We have a top drawer player on our books and cant get him fit enough to kick a ball.

Apparently it was his right knee which was the one he did in for America. He ran off when subbed so maybe not as bad as feared but bound to set him back with it being the same injury.

If it is a bad injury again lee i can't see us giving him a new contract.

Looks too much of a gamble if tonight is anything to go by.

does tonight count as him "being fit" so that USA can stop paying his wages, and now he is injured by playing for Bolton and its now our problem?

Gutted for the lad, heard on twitter that he is going to be flying out to the USA for assessment and treatment.

Hopefully it is not a long term set back. But i personally dont see him coming back now
