Sherwood v Pardew

Saw the Sherwood incident on MOTD Sunday when he threw the ball at Sagna, hitting him hard, for no apparent reason, certainly nothing Sagna did or said. After the first unprovoked attack he did it again, albeit with a little less venom the second time.
Luckily for him it was Sagna who actually stepped in and played peacekeeper for which Sherwood should be very grateful.
So come the 'analysis' after the game the incident wasn't even mentioned and has hardly been mentioned since, whereas Pardew was effectively hung drawn and quartered by pundits and the media alike... for the gayest attempt at a headbutt ever!
So Sherwood gets away scot free and it all seems to have been put down to him 'wearing his heart on his sleeve'... an over used cliche if ever there was one. Pardew in the meantime gets a hefty fine and a ban!
Oh and while on the subject no action for Joe Hart's 'headbutt' either against the long haired ex Posh player who's I can't remember right now!

Sherwood threw the ball to Sagna to take a throw in. If he'd wanted to, Sagna could've caught it. He chose not to because he was into a spot of time wasting. So it got flung at him again. Sagna knew what was going on and hence why he didn't make the most out of it.

This could be the gayest thread ever. Can't believe you're trying to make something out of this.

Sherwood is not long of this league I reckon. I'm not going to comment of the merits or not of throwing the ball hard at someone but if anyone saw him going apoplectic after about 5 mins of the Arsenal game, they'll know he looks like he has the tendency to do a 'Pardew' on someone! You just can't act like that as a manager, or in the public eye. Ask Di Canio.

Some of the Spurs fans aren't that happy with him either. No 'Plan A' it seems!

Reminds me a bit of our glorious leader, just a bit further up the league.

What I'm saying is that Sherwood's actions were if anything more aggressive than Pardew's but absolutely nothing has been made of it (did I really need to summarise that for you?)

I see George Boyd got a 3 match ban for having long hair whilst Joe Hart got away Scot free for 'putting his head in' aka headbutting him. Curiously the panel also found Boyd guilty of spitting!

I think both are okay managers tbh. yes pardews slight lean was unacceptable ,but his overall style and passion is something the likes of richie barker can only dream about.

Sherwood has a future as he clearly gets players to play for him and has been incredibly unlucky with mass injuries. Sagna etc should be booked for slow play. But that wont happen with the FA yes men anytime soon. The referees are all responsible for allowing "cheats" to prosper. Tbh i have thought, what sherwood did, many a time.
