Search continues for missing aircraft parts
The search continued today for the wreckage of the Aberdeen support that was reported missing in flight. The flight took off from Martin McGuinness East Glasgow Airport in Gallowgate last Sunday on its return flight to Pittodrie Airfield in Aberdeen. It landed there yesterday only about a third of the size it took off as. Substantial parts of it have gone out of radar contact with fears they will never be detected again.
Concerns were raised about the safety of the aircraft, it had apparently not flown on that route in 19 years, and it was pointed out it had been flying at a height they weren't used to. But this was dismissed by local source angusros who pointed out that the pilot had experience of flying light aircraft around Perth and Bristol. (but failed to mention the pilot got sacked at Bristol for crashing the plane). Mrs Colin Stein, me and my youngest are currently enjoying a wee week in Benidorm. Before we came she bought us both a Union Flag beach towel.
