70 years ago today one of the most famous moments in the Second World War occurred, spawning one of the greatest War films too. Encarcerated men who saw it as their duty to risk their lives, to try and escape and make life as difficult as possible for their captors.
Only 3 actually escaped, most of those who made it out of the compound and were re-captured were shot...

I had a rare foray on to the FF site, the other day, and noticed chiswickunt moaning about being red carded by the intolerant mods on this forum.
Apparently the mods red card anyone and everyone that winds up Saints fans, yet here he is again, spewing forth his bile.
