Wonderful actor, The Long Good Friday is a classic English gangster film, Bob Hoskins had a charisma that many so called moviestars could never equal.

He got an oscar nom for Mona Lisa which i did'nt rate that much. TLGF was a great film and the first time i remember him. Above all else his rise to fame never saw him pompous or disrespectful just a humble likeable bloke.
You couldn't help but like Bob, RIP.
