England Squad
Dyke is a Dickhead and so are his Lackeys>:)
One from Chelski 2 from Citeh 4 from Scouse
Says it all
Foreign Owners/Managers/Coaches (Rogers excepted) who care not a jot about producing/bringing on English players at PL Level
You don't need a Commission to look further than the PL as the underlying problem that besets our national team
QF at best. but I live in hope:blue:

re: England Squad
Looking at the complete makeup of the squad in terms of which club contributes the most players:
Liverpool: 5 (Johnson, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge)
Man United: 4 (Jones, Smalling, Rooney, Welbeck)
Southampton: 3 (Shaw, Lallana, Lambert)
Everton: 3 (Baines, Barkley, Jagielka)
Arsenal: 2 (Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere)
Chelsea: 2 (Cahill, Lampard)
Man City: 2 (Hart, Milner)
West Brom: 1 (Foster)
Celtic: 1 (Forster)
I'm not sure how Dyke's argument adds up given that the players coming from the "big" clubs weren't produced by their youth systems anyway.
As for the squad itself, no real surprises. I'd have taken Cole ahead of Shaw just because if something were to happen to Baines then I'd rather have someone experienced to deal with Italy and Uruguay.
Still think Gareth Barry is under-rated and should have been taken ahead of Lampard.
And I can't see anything other than a group stage exit looking at how pathetically weak our defence looks. The first back four aren't great

re: England Squad
By the time the world cup is here, that list will be
Liverpool 6 add Lallana
Manchester united 5 add Shaw
Scummers 1 fat b@stard that nobody wants

re: England Squad
I'd have taken Lambert over the other options we have. Good in the air and can take a set-piece if we are a chasing a game, which I fully expect us to be doing against Italy and Uruguay.

re: England Squad
And he never misses pens.
We could've had four if Rodriguez hadn't got injured.

re: England Squad
Still only one as he is off to Spurs

re: England Squad
I feel that the squad looks quite exciting.
Apart from Lampard tbh, would have preferred to have seen Barry in there too.
I am not expecting us to progress far but believe some of the football, if Roy let's them play, will be entertaining to watch.

re: England Squad
I feel that we will actually get through the groups, with all the pressure of expectation on them our young team will explode onto the world cup stage with the sensible management of a man who knows what's required. I expect us to fall out in the q's but wouldn't be surprised to make the semi's.
