They have ended up winning, albeit making heavy weather of disposing of a poor Championship side.

Top o' the league for a change. Let's hope they take this promotion business seriously this year, and carry it off as early as possible.

In that way we attract a better calibre of overseas player next term to help us stay up and chase honours like we have been doing in the One dayers and the T20 slog in recent years.
