Customer number and supporter helpline
I have added this as a new thread because I'm very interested in
Others opinions.
I really think Derby County have made things difficult for many supporters to get there wembley tickets.
The problem is that new and old season ticket holders and also match day ticket holders often do not have customer numbers.
I purchased new season tickets for my wife and myself back in March (I have only missed two home games and been to several away games this season) so I thought season tickets made sense.
The problem is they are both in my. So consequently only one customer number.
Now I never requested the ticket office to put them both in my, Luckily I saw the potential problem and got the wife's customer number sorted last week, so I had no problem getting my two wembley tickets.
Surely the office staff should issue individual customer numbers to every new customer for season tickets and match day tickets, requestings at the point of purchase. So DCFC are causing a lot of proble
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
I agree that there is a loophole here which is causing a problem. I don't think anyone saw it coming. I think the whole ticketing issue has been far more efficient than last time, which deserves credit.
Out of interest, have you (or has anyone else) tried to either;
1) Book your two tickets by entering the same customer number for both on-line
or
2) Rung SEE tickets rather than go on-line, as they operate 24hrs I think.
I've no idea whether either of those options would work in your case, I'm just curious if anyone has tried it. I have a mate who has two tickets under one customer number (and still did on Monday evening) and he booked both successfully yesterday morning but I haven't had chance to ask him yet if he had to get a second number from the ticket office first.
But you're right, hindsight being the wonderful thing that it is, there should be a number for people who qualify but need a valid customer number to be issued.
Have you emailed the club about it?

Ella, are you saying you have more than one customer number? if so you lucky devil you...
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
I've emailed the club and ticket office giving them my and address and asking for my customer number to be emailed back.
Not heard owt yet, other than a generic 'Thanks for your email, we endevour to get back to you within 2 working days'
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
I've already started a thread somewhere about this, all you have to do is fill in the first box provided online with the on the season ticket then the customer number and go to the next page.
You will then be asked how many tickets you want and as long as you have that amount of season tickets in your it will let you purchase those tickets.
DO NOT try and enter your and number again in the boxes below the first box because it will come up as an error.
I had the same problem but got my tickets yesterday.
Any problems post ask me again.
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
I have done the same toggles. I e-mailed the ticket office about mine and my brothers customer number and got the sane reply. Hope they get back to me before Saturday..
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
I have tried placing 1 and customer number on the first page and requesting 2 tickets on the second page as I have two season tickets . But this didn't work it stated I had requested more tickets than I had entered customer numbers.
This was suggested by the ticket office.
When this didn't work I visited the ticket office again this time after some debate they agreed to put me on a long list of people's details who are having customer number problems, Derby are going to email the list to see tickets, basically the list is telling see tickets to allow these customer numbers to have two wembley tickets as they either do not have a second customer number or like in my case it doesn't work.
Not sure if I'm confident it will work.
I was told to try to buy on line tomorrow evening.
Pretty poor from Derby County
re: Customer number and supporter helpline
Yes, it's not good from Derby.
But like I've said before, hindsight is great. Problems often get highlighted 'when' they become an issue, not before. I think this is one of those occasions.
As I understand it, the club are aware that the ticketing system is in a mess and has been for years. I believe there are plans to revamp it.
That doesn't help things now, the club just needs to try and help those affected through it as best as possible. The real difficulty is giving customer numbers to all those people should have one but don't or do have one but don't know what it is for Saturday
