OR do we sell Gazza, drop Boruc down to second place & get in a top class young keeper with potential. If i'm honest I think Boruc still has atleast season left in him so I'd take option 1.
Davis and Gazzaniga are not good enough so the Club has been trying to bring in another goalkeeper as cover/competition for Boruc. They bid for Fraser Forster in January and are now trying to get Kasper Schmeichel.
Boruc put in another excellent performance in Poland's 0-0 draw with Germany this week.
re: Do we stay with Boruc
Imagine how well Boruc would take the news that he's dropped to 2nd choice LOL!!!
Artur is No1 for me, yes he's prone to the odd moment of madness but more often than not he's been excellent for us. Schmeichal (sp) would be a great aquisition as back up/competition then I think Cropper is a good 3rd choice and should develop over time. Saying all that I would love it if we managed to sign Marshall from Cardiff!

Boruc + some competition for me

Yes, we shouldn't underestimate how good Boruc is. He keeps Arsenal's 1st choice goalkeeper out of the Poland team.
re: Do we stay with Boruc
I saw some stats for this season which showed how many points we got when Artur was playing, it's a huge difference from when KD or PG deputise. It's not just his ability between the sticks but the way he commands the defence in front of him.
It's no coincidence that one of our poorest runs of the season was when Artur was out after his injury at Stamford Bridge

I saw those stats, saints web it think and yes, they were pretty damning as far as Paulo and Kelvin were concerned. The presence of Boruc gives the whole defence a big confidence boost. I think it's worth noting that Victor Wanyama seems to improve our goals against record when he plays as well.
re: Do we stay with Boruc
Boruc is a good first choice, no doubt about that. Finding an available "top class young keeper" could be a tough one, easier said than done. Keepers rarely reach the peak of their form until their late 20's. We should be looking for experienced back up, someone as good as, if not better than Boruc.
