The Ninth Gate...

Im watching The Ninth Gate film on syfy and its about a high end book dealer walking around with a book from the 1700s,one of only three copies known to exist and "worth a million"...

Now i know that its only a film but he handles the ultra rare book like hes just bought it from WH Smiths,he doesnt wear any gloves to protect the book from his hands and worst still,he goes to another book seller/collector who picks up the book and drops fag ash all over it,does he go ballistic at the stupid old codger,No,he offers him another fag!!!

Having said that,its not a bad film...

You've too much time on your hands chalky. Saying that it's a good film. I'm watching inbetweeners over on E4.

We have just got different tastes because i cant stand the Inbetweeners,i just dont find it funny...

He is compering two copies of the book now and hes got a fag on as well,flicking ash all over the place and he drinks more than jj on a pound a pint night,theres no way that i would let him value my 1978 Beano Annual i can tell you...

Yes i am well aware that its fiction,but would you handle a book worth a million like last months Radio Times,its not even his book,i bet the owner would flip if he found out,its putting me off the film as ive now ive found myself tutting at him...:blue:
