This has been the case for a couple of years now. Cash or cheque receives no penalty. They even took a photo of me this time. Must be the good looks. ;)Quote:

When I asked why there was a charge for a debit card I was told "Most clubs do it". My response that we were supposed to better than most clubs received a weary smile.
The renewal mail/pamphlet includes an option to pay by bank transfer (and includes the club's bank details to enable this) - admittedly a little more effort on behalf of the supporter but would presumably avoid the debit card charge and less onerous than writing and mailing/taking in a cheque (imo).
As I live in Shrewsbury,A£2 is cheaper for me,than getting on a train,plus it it includes postage. ;D :D
Yes, but if you do come up and buy your season ticket at the ground, you can have a look at the glorious newly sown pitch. The sprinklers were working when we were there. Beautiful sight. ;)Quote:
