An Honest Post...

Just back from Washington DC after a couple of weeks holiday, it was not what I expected, it was nice but I would not envisage going back again, but that is not the reason for this post.

I have been saying for a while that this board and the ethos of the BOBs was going down hill, even before the BOB gate outrage with Ghost.

I don't blame any one individual for the way the board/BOBs has deteriorated , I could go way back to the beginning with Claretfingaz getting banned and not bothering to come back, Redhugh seemingly in a coma and then suddenly posting like mad, Zidane with his totally inept running of his forum WWF, ClaretsNut who does not post anymore yet reads the board's nearly every night, Smitrit who disappeared after a Blackpool Bob weekend while seemingly having a great time with us, solwaycoast who we sadly lost and with it our ventures to the Annan board, Ladywolf becoming a Mother but still using a forum called Facebook, Sadlad, thefatsaddler, Lion1, callumbustop and Pa

I was rather shocked, surprised and disappointed by today's posts.

I wouldn't quite agree that I thought some were having a pop at me. I did however say that I thought some people were probably getting irritated by my sense of humour. Not quite the same.

Yes I did interpret both yours and Rmmays' sudden influxes of post relating to Black and Sugar as an affront. But most of all I simply didn't see the relevance or the point

Like you say texts and posts can be misinterpreted

I called it drivel in the deleted posts and I do think it is that as I am sure you and Rammy will agree

We have all done it at some point and I have definitely done it with music and gag posts. But perhaps the timing of it was more influential in my retort on this occasion

Yes perhaps we are still haunted by ghost (see what I did there >:))

I have been on CM and to be honest I see no wind up from Stan to them, I see he is interacting well and appears to get good interest in his posts. I don't blame him wanting to post on the board of the team he loves

I said to Rammy earlier that I was feeling like we were treated like scum when left on the terrace and that there appear

Rammy if you are shocked by me calling it drivel that's fine I accept that

If there is something else you were shocked by please let me know bearing in mind others have3 read it too

As we are talking about the Black and Sugar posts, any thoughts on the "Salt" posts?

The drivel comments did not bother me because they are drivel. What did disappoint me is the insinuation that I had some ulterior motive behind them.

Yes you did, but it does worry me that one can contemplate that I have other clandestine reasons for putting up what I thought were harmless innocent posts, even if they were drivel.

As I said on the one of the deleted posts, I am going to take a sabbatical and let sleeping dogs lie for a while.
