If he does well the loan can be extended. If he doesn't or heaven forbid, gets injured, he will return to Millwall.
Win-win deal here should it go through. I don't rate Chorley so would rather have Robinson alongside Whatmough, but then will the captain be dropped?
Paul Robinson has agreed to extend his Pompey stay.
The Millwall centre-back has impressed since he arrived at Fratton Park on the eve of the new season and has now signed up until January 5.
The 32-year-old has made five appearances and has slotted into boss Andy Awford’s plans with ease.
Awford said: ‘He has enjoyed it here, he has done very well for us and I’ve enjoyed working with him.
‘We’re delighted that Paul will be with us until January and we’re thankful to Millwall for allowing it to happen.’
Great for me, any news on Whatmough ?
Robinson is far better than Chorley I.M.O. so I'm glad hes staying. It appears that Jack had his ankle x-rayd on Thur, and it is'nt too bad. so hopefully he wont be missing for long.
other good news for him is that he's been called up for the England under-19s match next month.:) :)
Thanks for the Whatmough news. I like what I've seen of Robinson so far, am well pleased he is staying
