Here We Go

The sun is shining (in north Hampshire at least), the birds are singing, a stomach lining fry up is on the go and the footie's back :D

Its going to be a long hard slog til May, but I'm going to enjoy today.

Your hopes for the season ? Mine are,

1. We stay up.
2. We beat Southampton North next match.
3. MP gets the sack before Christmas.
4. All the leavers, apart from SRL, have absolute mares.
5. Pompey ? Don't really care to be honest.;D

1. We win the League Cup or FA Cup.
2. We finish in the top 10.
3. We beat Spurs (finishing above them might be too much to hope for).

To have a good season regardless, just to prove the doubters wrong. A good cup run would be welcome...

World peace and an end to famine.

I'd like to do the double over Sunderland,Stoke and West Ham.3 ugly teams we really seem to struggle against.

That'll be a welcome 18 points.

Smashing the Bindippers and Spuds would be nice but prob wishful thinking.

Also hope Burnley survive and Middlesbrough,Sheffield United and Carlisle get promoted from their respective divisions.

The new players slot in well.
Players like JWP, Cork and Big Vic take the opportunity to shine further.
We surprise a few with yet more good youngsters.

Mid table finish in the league.
Take cup games seriously.
Do the double over Redcrap.

I hope Schneiderlin goes well in the reserves or we loan him to a League 1 club, just for a laugh XD

If we can bring in a decent centre back, the Romania lad Gardos looks very good another striker and a pacey winger then i think our squad would have the potential to do ok. The problem is settling all these new faces into the team which will take some time.
I hope we stay away from the bottom three and we should but i don't think we'll be getting anywhere near the points total of last season.

Pompey to get promoted.
Saints to finish mid table.
Arsenal to win the Premiership.
Man Utd to finish below Saints.
Oh and World Peace.

1 - Saints finish top half.
2 - Saints give both cups a really good go.
3 - pompey get relegated to their true level.
4 - Liarllana and Lovren have an injury plagued season.
5 - Our feeder clubs (Celtic & Burnley) produce us some more players for us in the transfer window.
6 - The bin dippers miss out on Europe.
7 - Pochettino gets sacked in December after we turn them over ala hoddle on their own patch.
8 - I win the lottery.
