Deulofeu surprised at being called back from Everton.

Gerard Deulofeu was presented as a Sevilla player on Tuesday in a move which shocked some in Spain.

When it was announced that the young Spaniard would not be continuing with a further Everton loan and would be returning to Barcelona, it was generally thought in Spain that he'd be able to shine next year with appearances as a substitute and in lesser games.

It's hard to explain just how highly Deulofeu was hyped during the summer. The 20 year old Catalan had been called up to train with Spain's World Cup squad before they travelled to Brazil for the tournament and he wasn't only seen as the future of Barcelona but also the future of Spain.
