Said it before, we are a sinking ship on and off the park. Even this early in the season I think we are in serious relegation trouble and I don't think McCall has what it takes to get us out of this mess. We are unfit, under prepared and that squad and manager is not mentally equipped for a dogfight.
Grim times.
Just keep heart ,hard as it is,there nothing else that can be done except keep the faith with current set upand hopefully it well improve.
I've been supporting the 'Well for so long that I've got straw-clutching up to post-graduate level. More preventable goals - annoyingly, we didn't need to lose that game today. We're just not coherent at the moment - we don't even launch ripples of attacks, never mind waves of them. Another game, and yet again big John barely had a half - chance.
Fingers crossed that our injured players will soon be back - Stuart Carswell at left back just about sums it up. It will get better!
PS - I was right behind the incident; we should have had a penalty at 0-1; the Kille player's arm was certainly by his side when the Motherwell shot came in, but he leant towards the ball and it hit his arm. But when it's not going your way...
No need to panic ...just yet. A horrendous spate of injuries have taken their toll to be sure, but really its only the left back slot that has caused us problems. Craig Moore has never been a regular first team pick and neither has Lee Erwin. Simon Ramsden was injured for a fair spell of last season and we didn't miss him that much. No there's something else going on this season. Worrying.
Can't see us do much against St Johnstone next Saturday.
I'm not worried. I would have expected a score draw today, but the injury toll is really leaving the team exposed. Calls for the managers head are laughable! I guess at the same time Derek mcinnes should pack his bags too?! Only the really top sides can have constant success, which translates to title wins. Motherwell are not that type of team. It will get better, I believe that hammell and Ramsden will transform the team in a few weeks time.
Are Hammell and Ramsden fitness coaches because that's what we need to transform the team? Hammell had a backside the size of a space hopper before he got injured so God knows what he'll be like after a few weeks on the sidelines.Quote:
