At present the Championship is proving a really competitive league with just 6 points separating the first 14 teams,Norwich 21 and Leeds 15. It means every game is almost a 6 pointer and a couple of wins on the bounce shoots you up the league ,conversely two defeats and you're biting your nails.We are all in with a chance as so far no one is running away with it,adding the interest.
Even the Prem is more interesting as from Southampton to Stoke just 5 points cover 14 teams.
A strongly balanced division, greystone, no doubt about it; it helps that the three clubs that were relegated are not looking to automatically bounce back up...not much to tell amongst any of them! Only Norwich is in the top eight mix, with only two points separating all eight of them.
Championship looks like it will not disappoint us once again. As always, gotta just fight through it and put your losses behind you and build on wins.
When I talk to friends looking to get into soccer, I always recommend at least following the Championship and watching a game a week.
At the moment, the signs are that the Championship will be won with less than an average of two points per game as has been the case in three of the last four seasons.
Keeping a settled team is a key to success. There has been too much tinkering in the last few matches. I understand why, but it is disruptive as we have seen.
It will be interesting to see how Kenny plays it after the break.
I think KJ is working on about an average of 2 points a match so just off target. Re tinkering wonder if Evans is fit ,he will be back in or will he keep Tommy Rowe in who didn't have a bad game.
