It's Hazel's fault tonight, ten changes against a CHAMPIONSHIP side, how can an established PREMIER LEAGUE side lose to a team like Bournemouth? ;D

It's good we made your evening complete for you. I think some of us saw that coming though.
As much as the interest in the competition has fallen over the years it is a shame many clubs don't see it as trophy worth going for. Or is it the clubs, that side should have been capable of winning against Bournemouth but failed miserably, so as Yarmouth said on a post on our board, last night is mostly down to player mentality.
I am sure we will delight you on more occasions this season, fear not. Have a good day wulfies.

Fairplay ! It also pee's me off that Wolves don't seem to take cups seriously, it's almost like clubs say, right lets see how poor a team we can put out and still scrape a win ! Does my head in, worst case Mad Mick's team at Manure.

If anything, we should take the League Cup very seriously. Yes, it's a lesser competition than the FA Cup, but it is also less intrusive to a promotion push or relegation battle. The quarters will be played in December, the semis in January and the final at the beginning of March, so the matches are pretty spread out and won't affect your league play much, especially considering we don't have European play to deal with.
The FA Cup is a bit more intrusive as if you're in the top tier, a deep cup run would really affect your league aspirations as rounds 3-final are all after the turn of the New Year and you can potentially be stuck with some replays if you draw a match, whereas they just play for a winner each match in the League Cup.
If you ask me which trophy I'd rather win, obviously the FA Cup. But which trophy is more feasible at this point in time for Wolves?
