Peace and Goodwill to all men.

On this poignant day,100yrs since the first world war,and troops being withdrawn from afghan,lets all reflect on the polital,and religious bigotrys that have been strangling mankind since we first appeared on our beautiful planet.Lets just ask ourselves were the hatred for our fellow man comes from,why does different skin colour,different cultures,different beliefs,why does that recipe make hatred,even still or indeed more so in our modern world.I believe all men are born equal but depending on the culture we grow up in,we become different and believe different to others born somewhere else.Why that breeds hatred I don't know it must be a biological thing we are cursed with.But if only for today,foget sectarianism.isis.etc lets try and feel peace within us.Ok usual thing ive had a few but I mean every word ive wrote. :heart:

Very profound that Whatsmore.

I was in London yesterday with the Mrs and we went into Borough Market outside London Bridge. It is a food market providing food cooked before you or bought to take home. The food was from all over the world, it looked and smelled absolutely fantastic.

Now if we did not have a multi cultural society we would have none of that. I just wish we could all learn to live together without all the hassle. And religion causes most of it.

Crying shame whatsmore, like eric said the multi culture in this country is one to be proud of, our diversity is second to none.

6 billion people on this planet living in what, say couple of hundred countries with a dozen religions, makes you wonder where the problem truly lies.

a couple of hundred country leaders whose sole purpose is to line their pockets at the cost of their nationals and then religion jumps in with the same agenda.

whilst they sleep in ivory towers in comfort they each allow millions to fight and die for their egoistic, self gratification.
