"1-3-6...1-3-6. That's it,wee Celtic man." gushed Sean,in triumph.
"Whit?" squawked the wee Celtic man.
"Since I rode into town I've been trying to come up with a formation that would suit the players we have. I suggested 1-1-8 and 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 but they didn't work...our players weren't sufficiently adaptable. But 1-3-6 could work." enthused Sean.
"Whit?" chirped the wee Celtic man.
"Did you see that Scatland v Ireland game on Friday night which Ireland...I mean Scatland...won 1-0? Chesney,another wee Celtic man,albeit as a manager,played a 1-3-6 formation and it worked perfectly." whooped Sean.
"Whit?" quacked the wee Celtic man.
"It was:
1. Martin.
3. Brown,Hanley,Mulgrew.
6. Whittaker and Maloney on the right,
Robertson and Anya on the left,
Fletcher and Naismith through the middle.
...1-3-6. Fast,attacking football,greatly enjoyed by the fans. We could do that at Dense." explained Sean.
