England v. Slovenia

What did everyone think? Once Slovenia got the goal, we suddenly started to look very good. Weird.
There's something about international football which means that most of the games seem to lack that little bit of passion and edge. You'd think the opposite would be true.
Still not certain about that centre-back pairing.

Just watched the Belgium v Wales match too.
THAT'S the way to defend - with the midfield providing an excellent screen and first wall.
Very impressive.

TBF Auckland, we should win every match in that group if we are going to do anything in the Euros.
