re: it is driving me crazy
I am positive the FA will give us a extra 10 points because our striker "puts in a shift", won't they?. Come back becchio for gods sake
re: it is driving me crazy
I see your point, derby, but in my opinion neither players were good signings, and out of their depth at this level...maybe ok in the future, but not now..thing is, like you say, they have got a goal or two...it puts a false twist on it all for me...one things for sure though, if we dont start scoring, a sticky fate awaits us...blackpool apart, forest were the poorest side weve played and were there for the taking..we would have beaten them earlier in the season...i thought all the three new loanees played well but what happens when they go back?...urgent striker needed NOW..somebody like dicko or agard please...
re: it is driving me crazy
Forest were there for the taking, which is great in a way because we didn't look there for the taking, I too love that we're playing this way as it's working a lot better.
Poor substitutions for me. The Cardiff game he took Pringle off for Taylor and we instantly looked less of a threat, so why try it again? why not try something else? Newton? And putting Bowery on the wing what was that about? Taylor shouldn't get anywhere near the side again.
It's so frustrating as we are now seeing that there's some poor sides in this league, better subs could have won us that.
Liking the new players apart from not sure about Lawrence, He's far better than Taylor, doesn't look like he's going to score though. Not sure what JCH did wrong? and think we might be better off with him. We need get Bowery in the side for Revs and give him a proper go. Love Revs, but think in this league we'd be far better using him off the bench when needed as I think Bowery would be the better option.
Lots of posi

Agree with the majority on this post that Bowery and JCH need game time. SE needs to give at least one a run starting in the team and the other longer when they come off the bench to have an impact against tired defences. As much as I admire Revs effort he's not cutting it at Championship level.
UTM!
re: it is driving me crazy
Our problem is the main striker's role is there for the taking but nobody out of Derbyshire, Bowery and JCH seems capable of grabbing the opportunity and making the position their own. Revell gets a run in the team purely on the basis that nobody has been capable of ousting him.
It does seem that Evans, understandably, makes a lot of how they perform in training so we can only assume he sees no credible, current alternative to Revs. But it does leave us, the supporters, wondering why we've spent in excess of £700k on two young strikers, who seem very similar in many ways, neither of whom gets a chance to prove themselves. Building for the future is all very well, if it happens, but our goal-scoring problems are here and now.
