re: Back to winning ways.
Agreed. Tomorrow is a must-win for more than the obvious reason now. The last 2 games have been a mixture of woeful & unlucky, we've got to turn that around at Brammall Lane.
re: Back to winning ways.
Injury, some bad luck too in the 3 games we knew were coming. Burnley was a game we probably would have got something from a month ago.
Hopefully the strongest team possible tomorrow.
re: Back to winning ways.
I don't think we have become complacent.
With Morgan and Cork out, we've had to shuffle the pack and as a result we seem to have lost some of the penetration down the flanks, and no one from the midfield, generally, is getting beyond Pelle.
Also think the chances we have missed, emphasise the difference between us and Manure. Both us and Liverhampton could/should have scored several against Manure, but didn't. Yet Manure, even with their carp defence, are picking up wins based on the opportunism of their key players, taking the few chances they get.
re: Back to winning ways.
I think momentum also has something to do with it. Man U really weren't very good a month or so ago. They got battered for half an hour at Arsenal, should have been about 3 down and yet somehow managed to win the game 2-0. Since then, although still not playing particularly well, they have not looked back.
Saints just need a break. A fortunate deflection or a few decisions going our way will do. Once we break the spell we will start winning again. Decent players don't suddenly become bad players. 5,000 fans will back them all the way tomorrow night, they need to feed off that and get the job done. COYS
