Tommy Bryce scored a world record hat trick in a 6-0 Doonhamers win against Arbroath at Palmerston . He actually scores four that day. Does that bring back memories to any ?

I was there & remember it well JR .
Always wondered who was actually responsible for timing the hat-trick that famous night ...!?!?
Good point Palmlad . The famous hat- trick was timed at 1min and 46 secs and I wonder how we could accurately time it as that and who timed it . Ref ? Queens historian ? Or whoever ?Quote:

Missed out big time.:(
I remember it well although at the time and to this day, to me, it seemed more like five minutes than under two.
Magnificent achievement from a great club servant.
Only 481 fans witnessed the record hat - trick that day against Danny McGrain's team.
remember the day well a queens legend, something tells me that it wasn't documented properly at the time so isn't official ,could be wrong though..
In true Queens fashion I seem to remember that was our first game after being thrashed 8-3 at Forfar in the Scottish Cup.

Anyone know the timing of Tommy's slower hat-trick?
