re: Am I seeing it right ?
The players who are not trying appear to be the ones reportedly on the higher wages, they also seem to give the impression that their too good a player to be relegated,as I have alredy posted I am sure Ainsworth broke into a walk yesterday,Kerr's bad pass certainly contributed to their first goal but ex-international McManus has surely with all his experience got to be able to mark his man better and just jockey him away from goal instead of trying to play him offside.
re: Am I seeing it right ?
Im afraid the managers post match interview concerned me .. he thought we played well in spells. I musta fallen asleep when that happened, apart from the last 15 mins we were utter dross.

Spot on Stevie. But we seem to folk on this site who won't critical because he is only in the door, but surely he got the job because he said he could turn it around but no sign of it yet

Im more than happy to give him time but comments like he made do worry me what hes seeing.

Due to injuries IB is not going to slag off any of the players before he gets the chance to bring in his own signings, in case he doesn't get any money and then has to rely on those he has slagged off to keep us up.Look what happened last season at Hibs with Butcher. Also feel we cant blame manager for a player who cant pass a ball ten yards to a team mate, and an ex-internationalist who cant mark his opponent by jockeying him away from goal instead of trying to play offside both these factors contributed to the first goal.Neither of which the manager can do anything about during the game.I will judge IB once he has stamped his style of play on the team and brought in/got rid of his choice of players. If he fails when these take place I will then be critical of his management skills :s

Im not asking him to slag off players Im asking what it is he sees?
re: Am I seeing it right ?
Im guessing he sees the same things as most of the fans do,but he cant do anything about it until he gets his type of players in and the ones he wants rid of out the door.To his credit in my opinion he brought in two of the younger players who both performed well, something I doubt McCall or Black would have done if either was still in charge. :)

I'm 100 per cent behind any changes he makes but find it incredible that he thought we played well in spells against Aberdeen. Not a single shot on Aberdeens goal until 72 mins is desperate stuff. We were rotten all over the pitch until 75 mins gone.
re: Am I seeing it right ?
We only started to put a bit of pressure on Aberdeen in the last 10 to 15 minutes. Even then there was no real effort on goal, just a few of corners forced. I suppose he has to keep confidence up hence his remarks.
