Yesterday soaked through to the skiddies by 8-30am.
Today is cold, bright and sunny.
The view from the office.
Life is grand and full of little surprises ! O:)

Where exactly is that, K? Cornwall somewhere I assume. Looks awesome.
K, i'm heading down to St Just In Roseland for a few days in Feb, any local dens of iniquity with local brews to be recommended?
Looks stunning,K - a lovely part of the country, and made for dogs !
Not too shabby where I am, either - sun is out, sky is blue, view is not at all unpleasant !

I quite fancy a weekend in the Channel Islands, any good?

Towan Beach, Newquay.
Involved in rebuilding the sea wall breached during last winter's storms.
Couple of Navy Sea Kings entered the bay about an hour ago, headed off towards Mawgan Porth. Surfers in trouble perhaps?
St Aubin Bay looks stunning today. :D
Guernsey`s a bit quiet, IMO - it`s got St Peter Port and that`s about it.
Jersey`s a much better option for a weekend - loads to see around the island (car hire is cheap), some great scenery and, if you stay in St Helier, there`s loads of pubs and restaurants to keep you entertained at night.
The tourists have kept away the past few years (even in the summer) so it never seems to be that busy.
Very friendly and very laid back - can definitely think of worse places for a mini-break.
