open letter to the players
if your not gonna give 150% - tell steve n Baker you dont want to play
too many players give up to easy
if you cant play where your asked to play - stay out of the first 11
youve got to be stronger
attack with pace - dont just run and then pass it back
time to step up - we can STILL get out of it
to Steve n baker
pick the side we played at a winning run and fill in around then if not all fit
you wont win by defending and hoping for a break away goal
attack and press teams in there own half - dont just try containment
Would like to keep leigh - and tate out of loanees
and bring back oliver and haber and LDV as front 3 next season
i talked to Winall when on trial and he said he would sign for us if asked - money wasnt an issue
also recomended Brown ans akinde at Barnet early on in season - dont expect anyone looked at them
also wanted james constable and Alfie Morsey looks good @ Wycombe
just another - why would sean miller rather go to York city on loan than come back he
re: open letter to the players
Good post but too late now, as for Winnal and others, maybe as with Dario there's some probs with Davis and his handling of those players?
re: open letter to the players
if your not gonna give 150% - tell steve n Baker you dont want to play:
I don't think you could accuse 1 player out there on Saturday of not giving a 100%, it was simply circumstance which effected the game and we still came out with a point.
if you cant play where your asked to play - stay out of the first 11:
Players having the ability to cover other positions when we need them is essential at this level. If the centre mid who can play right back is a better right back than the next fit right back, surely he plays?
Youve got to be stronger:
What does this mean? Mentally or physically or both? because you can't ask young lads to suddenly develop physical strength and mentally our lot seem pretty resilient. Coco's come back stronger, heads don't drop when we concede, despite being up against it on saturday we still get a point??
pick the side we played at a winning run and fill in around then if not all fit:
Pick a side to beat the team we're playing is always the best option?
re: open letter to the players
so Akinde 29 goals mean nothing in a phisical league
re: open letter to the players
We need a strong player who can control the ball, bring in the players around him and link up with people. Having seen Akinde quite a few times he's a big lad who blusters and blunders his way through defenders and wins alot of knock ons etc but there's a reason he had to drop as low as Barnet to get football. Poor first touch, weak link up play, both are things we need. His goal scoring record when in the football league at Crawley should give you an idea.
Just out of interest how do you think Uche would do in the conference?
