My story:
In January 2004 my youngest son Harvey-James fell ill with meningococcal septicaemia which is a deadly form of meningitis, Harvey was just 9 months old at the time, Despite such awful adversity placed in front of him at such a young age Harvey battled back to full fitness with the amazing help and support shown on the PICU ward at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, Harvey lost all of his toes on both feet and some digits on each hand but now enjoys life to the full as boy his age should, He has amazing strength and courage in everything he does and is now 12 years old.
