Jobi McAnuff
Apparently this 33-year-old(?) Jamaican international winger is training at Ewood with the Rovers squad,he is currently contracted to Leyton Orient of Division II.
Now Im all for offering opportunities to freebies, but really a 33-year-old winger from the bottom division. What does that say about Connor Mahoney or young Tomlinson ? :?
I have to ask what about some defenders instead ??? Where all the problems seem to be......
Gary Bowyer seems to have a built-in aversion to picking our own youth/reserve youngsters.

I cannot agree more Bob
Another winger over a defender/youth product is baffling and a little annoying
Let's hope he decides not to sign him but if he continues to ignore the fact we have 3 central backs in the team we will come unstuck
Kilgallon is injury prone and if one of the other 2 becomes injured we will have a bit of this and a bit of that filling in which isn't the answer.

re: Jobi McAnuff
I don't think this will amount to anything, Robin.
Sometimes, it's just a matter of a player asking to train with a club to keep fit. Signing him would be absolutely pointless.
As for the centre-back shortage, I wonder if it's a case of Bowyer believing that Spurr and Lenihan provide adequate cover.
There doesn't seem to have been any attempt to get Doneil Henry Back on loan, which is surprising.

re: Jobi McAnuff
Although we are in this embargo, its still quite baffling on why we would 'entertain' such a player given age and standing.
it would appear GB is willing to consider almost anyone who could done a pair of boots, hope its not the desperation of a drowning man.
As for centre backs, for me and what I saw last year, Baptiste was always going to be a valuable 'loss' to us as I thought he was outstanding in his own calm assured way.
Didn't see Henry play so can't comment on that loss, but it would seem he could be seen as a similar loss

re: Jobi McAnuff
It's quite ironic that a man who has set his team up to be mainly cautious/defensive is neglecting any signings for his defence in favour for attacking players
Will this be bowyers new style if so I am in.
