Just Back

Not from the game, but back in Dorset.

I managed to get the game on Saturday, and although turgid at times, it was good to see a Well win in the flesh, so to speak and a nice sunny day to boot. It was lovely sitting in the sun in the East Stand (yes to summer football). It was my daughters first trip to Fir Park, which she enjoyed, which is always a bonus.

I thought some of the team looked nervous and were not quick in thought for the final pass, Skippy was one that I thought who was guilty of this and dallied a bit too long at times.

I was impressed by Kennedy and young Dom. I know it has been mentioned here before, but I thought near the end, the midfield were right in front of the defense and when Theo came on he was left isolated and did his best to hold things up, the support play needs to be sharpened up in future.

I still get butterflies when I am at the game, but relief rather than joy at full time made it worthwhile. :D

Well at least it was worth the trip to see the well win. It must be a Motherwell thing, even with two minutes to go and we are two up I still get butterflies.

Some people were moaning leaving game was the worst game ever but I never thought that got a lead and if moults 2 nd goal had not been wrongly chalked off I feel we would have gone on 2 win easily but as game went on we played more defensive to protect lead but for once I never expected Killie to score and that's unusual for me at a well game
