Same go`s for Granty, the Vile fan`s are rubbing their hands with glee,he`s the backbone of the team, still giving 100%,like he did with us.
Come`s as no suprise that he was MOM again, not for the first time for us or the Vile.
Same applies for Toots & Ellis.
I agree with your thoughts on Grant and to a lesser extent Ellis.
However Tootle is a different kettle of fish.
He threw his toys out of the pram because he didn't get a move in 2014 , and feigned injury for the majority of last season and then you blame the club that he left.
Smell the coffee, he had no intention of staying here at anytime, he only hinted that he would sign a contract here to get a better deal elsewhere.
Fans need to realise what he was really like.
Yeah it was strange he was 'injured' most of last season and pre but hey, moves to Shrews and played every game so far, disappointing for me as he's a Crewe lad too.
This is not true about Toots. This is pure speculation and opinion. I am fairly confident the facts differ from what is being said on here. He was offered a longer deal at Shrewsbury and that is why he left. He was injured for most of last season and I am fairly certain the management would have liked him to stay.
Is Coullibaly really playing in defence? I bet not one Crewe fan who wanted him signed would have put him there.
Granty was all about the money and Toots chose to leave. Having said that, it was his clanger that led to them losing to Burton.
Hindsight is a great thing though...
What's not true Tim ?
That Toots had no intention of staying. He was offered a deal. But then got offered a longer one at Shrewsbury. He has a family. He has to do the best he can for his family. There was no question of him blaming the club and throwing his toys out as has been suggested.
He wont be blaming the club, he downed tools as he no longer wanted to be here.
Ultimately he was clever enough to fashion a departure which hinted that he was the victim.
Fair play, he obviously kidded you to thinking what you do.
Bump this.
See he scored today - for Newport!
Not such a big loss if Posh have farmed him out.
