Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
I have never seen a result create so many posts, animosity, hatred and despair as todays. Everyone just Calm down. OK so DW was the wrong choice by MM but if Bent And Blackman had come on a scored everyone would be saying great substitution. I know they didn't and the subs in the end were a mistake but JC stop rioting.

Mel might be ok with throwing a chance of promotion away but fans have shelled out big money on season tickets with the assumption that mel would be going for it this season.fans have a right to go ****ing mad when you go 3 up with 10 mins to go and draw 3-3.

Don't you think Mel's 'shelled out big money' himself Polish? The reaction to a draw at Rotherham - an in form side with a new and more than capable manager - is, imo, out of all proportion.
Why do fans have a 'right to go ****ing mad' in this situation anymore than if we'd played really badly and drawn 0-0. There's every reason to be disappointed and frustrated...every reason to have a good rant but some of the stuff on here tonight is just childish, malicious nonsense. We've had a few people at Derby who really deserved to be demonised... Docherty, Maxwell, the Three Amigos, Davies...that's not the case now.

Hypocrite ... your usually the first to panic and post messages of doom, (read some or your own recent post-match posts).
re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
Ok I dont know who Mel is but your lot are still definitely on for the play offs this season. Did any of you think today would be a loss before kick off ?
re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
Loads did Acido...have a look at the Derby v Rotherham link from yesterday down in Wiltshire...that's why the overreaction is so puzzling.
Mel is Mel Morris...our rookie owner and long term fan. He's made a few bad calls this season that's for sure but he's Derby through and through and some need to be careful what they wish for. I think he'll get it right but, Christ, you'd think we were in a relegation fight listening to some of 'em.
re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
Yes exactly Anag.
Your still in a good position and I also dread to think what the reaction would have been if you were in Rotherham's place for example.
re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
well we are still in the play off places not doomed like charlton and bolton to the league 1 abyss
well said acido it,s nice to have some positive posts even if it from a opposition supporter
re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
By all accounts it was a good 80 mins or at least that is what I am hearing from people who went.. That is a positive and assuming Wassell set that up then he should be praised.
But those last 10 mins are inexcusable and show what is wrong. Schoolboy decisions from the coach to only be compounded by poor after match comments.
The OP is right, the mood is very hostile at the moment. The club have a massive week ahead, if we have a poor performance against Forest, it is going to turn nastily on Saturday... Again the players, coaches and senior management team have backed themselves into a corner.. Nowhere to hide next week.. Forest poor at the moment as well, so their fans could be venting as well.
It's going to be interesting.

re: Take Deep Breaths And Calm Down
The frustration is with Mel, but the issue is that PC was sacked and no experienced manager lined up for a final push for promotion.
Even a poorly run club like Newcastle sorted that.
This is my only issue ..and has been since day one .
