MK Dons away match

I've bought 3 tickets for the MK Dons away match (Tues 05th April PM) for me & two of my mates (who are "neutral"). From your experiences, of those who've been to last year's match, what's the best pub for away supporters? I'm really looking for one not too far from MK station. Alternatively would we be allowed in the Wetherspoons, which I know is just up the street from the station?

Don't wear any colours Bill and you'll have no probs getting into Spoons, mind it's about 3 miles from the ground!

Here's a bit of a guide for you in link below. As well as what Eve has posted, Fenny Stratford seems popular. On my one and only visit two seasons ago, my sister drove us, so there was no pub stop. - view external link

Yep Fenny Stratford is a good call we drank round there on the 10k game some good pubs and walkable to the stadium!

Got talking to a few Gornal lads when we were there that day can't remember what Pub it was but they had one of the Biggest Gornal Wolves flags I'd ever seen, top fellas as well.

I think we are / were planning on getting a taxi from MK. Our train also stops at Bletchley, so I'm thinks about a pubstop there. Fenny Stratford is a bit of a walk away (my mates are coming from work), so pre-match drinking time will be limited.

Ticket allocation for the game has been increased to 1774, fair play to all those that are going, it's easy to go to away games if the side are doing well and higher up in the table.

Rest assured had this been a Saturday game I would have been there regardless of form or league position! ;)
Need to keep some of my annual leave for other things.

It wasn't aimed in the way it might read Eve, a winning team and many more supporters would want to go, a mediocre season and numbers will drop, it's the way that football is, it's not cheap and hits many of us deep in the pocket.
