Swift Flies Into Reading

John Swift the 21 year old who the Millers had on loan from Chelsea, has signed for Reading, on a 3 year deal plus a 12 month extension if required.
The England under 21 player was out of contract, but the Royals will have to pay a compensation fee to Chelsea, with the player being under 24 years of age.
This is Japp Stams fifth signing since becoming manager at Reading, during the summer.
Looks like the Millers are playing catch up against other championship sides, in recruiting players.
