Certainly off the pace at present
He will probably get 7 or 8 goals for us next season, in League One. Alan Stubbs has a vision. He knows he is taking us down to League One, so he is building for the future. Hence why he gave Dexter a 3 year contract. Forward thinking.
He will score when he's had enough game time
When I read about Dexter Blackstock my thoughts go straight to Tom Bradshaw. Tom has 2 goals at the moment - that's £325 000 per goal.
Dexter has been nurtured by AS which is a big feather in the managers cap for me....because if we can get a mentally hungry and physically fit Dexter Blackstock....( who might need a little cotton wool around him at the moment ) we will have "reight player" !
I am NOT a betting man but I would bet that Dexter's £ per Goal will be better than Tom Bradshaws.....
One or two touches went astray yesterday but you could see what he was trying to do with them.
Get him fit and I think you will see a bit of quality from him.
Blackstock? know who I'd sooner have Bradshaw everytime. Hope Danny Ward keeps fit while January else we've f/ed it.
