Would really love us to keep the momentum building however I have a feeling we will do our usual 2 steps forward 2 back.

Rovers are on a roll..3-2 to the Rovers
This is always a big one for me, as I lived in the Ipswich area for many years. I am desperately hoping I get the gloating rights over my friends there. There is a bit of fan unrest in Suffolk at the moment, and their results have been up-and-down.
2-2.
A draw for me too, so I'll have to say 1 - 1.
Just had a long e-mail from two (admittedly drunk!) friends in Ipswich.
They said that Ipswich definitely deserved to win, but that Rovers had several good chances on the counter. They thought that our best player on the day was Akpan, and that Feeney was a handful.
Their most interesting comment was that we defended too deep, and allowed far too many shots from the edge of the area.
Apparently, Steele was very slow to get down for the first goal.
They also agreed that some refs would have given a penalty in Williams' favour right at the end.
The annoying thing is, this was the first time for a while that McCarthy picked an attacking team and it worked!
Robin wins this week.. It's always frustrating when a team scores two goals away from home and still loses.. Lessons to be learnt in defence
Unsurprisingly we lose to a team we should beat
it's fine beating Newcastle away and at home but if you cannot beat those around you it spells trouble
we are the kings of being inconsistent sadly due to our woeful start to the season we will be in a dogfight until the end
our game with Burton at the end of February will need to be a win at all costs.
I will be there.
