I got the feeling from radio interview TS gave that he wasn't in favour of the transfer window as it stands.
What are your thoughts and would you put in place a transfer window for managers?

I think the transfer windows have been a terrible innovation and there is no logic whatsoever in condensing such huge amounts of expenditure (not for us obviously 😊) into such tight periods of time.
In most other business environments transactions can be conducted at any time throughout the year and I'm not sure why the powers that be decided to make football so different.
The transfer windows have probably been worse for smaller clubs as, if they need to sell a player or players simply to remain afloat, they are unable to do so until the window opens again.
The changes to the loan system this season have also hit smaller clubs disproportionately. How we could have done with a few strategic loans in September or October to strengthen our inadequate squad.
Logic says allow clubs to conduct business at any time in the season although I appreciate not everyone will agree.
Can we have a very high window and throw Blackstock through it?
The window is another 'SKY' invention that sells air time.....it's of no help to anyone within football but that's 'SKY' for you.
As for Blackstock - he'll be a hero before he leaves.....
Can't you all remember when Adeyemi - Vaulks - Taylor - Forde were the worst kind of rubbish.
And Izzy just wasn't a Rotherham United kind of player.....
He'll come good - given a run in the side and the right service - fingers crossed !
You should return that crystal ball, lbj, it's clearly unfit for purpose.
Makes perfect financial sense as far as RUFC are concerned. Means we only have to rent a FAX machine for two days of the year XD
Get the FAX outa here!
