Prediction League - Birmingham City
Wolves have another big match coming up, as they welcome local rivals Brum to Molineux. Wolves won the first matchup earlier this season, with a 3-1 victory at St. Andrews. One interesting note from that match - Wolves got two goals from forwards (Mason & Bod) in that match. Those two goals consist of 40% of our total league goals from forwards this season (yikes!). Alot has changed since that match. For one, both clubs have new managers with Zenga and Rowett both getting sacked earlier this season. Wolves have fared much the same when it comes to league play with Zenga producing a 4-4-6 league record and leaving us in 18th place. Lambert is 5-3-7 and we are in.....18th place. Can't complain as Brum have looked much worse since their managerial change. Rowett had Brum in and out of the playoff spots most of the season and they were in 7th place at the time of his sacking. They are now in 14th position, having won only one league match since Gianfranco Zola was hired. It was an odd decision when Rowett was fired and now it looks disastrous. If timing would have been different, I would have been more than fine with Rowett as Wolves manager. Their main attackers are Clayton Donaldson and Lucas Jutkiewitz with 6 and 10 goals respectively. They're now in the lower half of the league when it comes to scoring goals and conceding goals. This should be a Wolves win and we desperately need to improve our home form.
